Do you know, what day is it today? It’s a RANKING DAY! This time, we’ve looked into Dutch cryptocurrency exchanges. Which one is the best? What can they offer? Look up our list.
We have already made our ranking with the United Kingdom’s exchanges and Polish exchanges. Still, there are many countries in Europe, which can offer many interesting trading platforms. Today’s direction: the Netherlands.
Coss.io is the best cryptocurrency exchange based in the Netherlands. That is a fact. Good user experience? Check. Safe and secure platform? Check. Availability, the best place in rankings, and many coins to choose from? Check, check, check. Coss.io has it all.
There is at least one fly in the ointment. Coss.io was very popular a few months ago. Right now, that is not the case. The platform is listed on the 182,987th place in the world in Alexa ranking.
Coss.io has the most coins enlisted among those exchanges in the ranking. It offers 81 cryptocurrencies to trade with. Because of all of the above, Coss.io is the best cryptocurrency exchange from the Netherlands.
LiteBit was close, but in the end, it has to take the second place. It has fewer coins enlisted, it has lower security ratings, it is listed on coinmarketcap.com, which usually gives exchanges more credibility. Still, it is the second best trading platform based in the Netherlands.
If it comes to the interest of crypto users, LiteBit is similar to coss.io. Once widespread, now loses attractiveness. Alexa ranks LiteBit’s website on the 90,014th place in the world.
The platform has 57 coins enlisted. It is also available in three languages: French, English, and Dutch. The company based in the centre of Rotterdam for a few years has been offering easy to access platform for every crypto investor.
Txbit took the third place. The platform combines simplicity, safety, and anonymity. However, the most significant advantage of Txbit is its availability. The website is available in 13 languages. Thanks to that, it can reach people from all around the world.
As you can see, Txbit is still very young. But it has already attracted many people from the cryptocurrency industry. As of today, it is ranked on the 286,167th place in the world, according to Alexa ranking.
Txbit can become number one in a short period. It is developing very quickly and it became one of the best crypto exchanges in the country in only a few months. Still, it has to chase Coss.io and LiteBit.
Here, things get tricky. You could argue that on the fourth place could be a few exchanges: Bitonic, Deribit, Bitvavo, or even Bitrush. Nevertheless, bitonic is ranked a little higher than others in most of the rankings.
As almost every cryptocurrency exchange in this ranking, Bitonic losses on popularity. Almost a year ago, it was popular, but now it can’t attract new people to the platform. The 542,451st place speaks for itself.
The biggest problem for Bitonic is a list of coins. The platform promotes itself as a cryptocurrency exchange on many websites, but it offers only one digital asset – Bitcoin.
Deribit took the last place in our ranking. The exchange has existed since June 2016. Deribit started as a Bitcoin Futures and Options trading platform going live in the summer of 2016. It runs its daily office from Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Deribit earned a place on our list mostly because it is still popular among crypto lovers. As of today, the platform is ranked on the 105,311th place in the world (second to LiteBit), according to Alexa ranking.
Deribit shares the same problem that Bitonic has: not enough cryptocurrencies enlisted. The platform is focused only on two digital assets: Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Almost made it
As always, we can’t forget about those, who almost made our ranking. They were very close, and some may argue that one or the other should be on our list. We have to give them props, but they weren’t good enough to be in 1 to 5 places.
